MaMa and PaPa are here

Everyone is enjoying mama and papa

Our tomato plants

We are all amazed at how good our tomato plants have done. If anyone needs some, please let us know. We have more than we can eat

All in the day of our Ethan

Ethan was being very quite outside and not running in and out. I thought that I should check on him and this is what I found. He was having a great time all by himself.

Church Camp

Ashton AKA "Frog Boy" He had a great time at camp. Here I am Lord, Speak for your servant is listening. 1Samuel 3:4 Mr. Whitt, his counselor really did great with Asthon. Ashton came home horse. The next day he came down with a 24 hour stomach virus. A few funny things about camp: 1. They had 2 baskets of "unclaimed" cloths from camp. I knew that I should go through them, I found all of Ashtons bedding and a pair of shorts. 2. When we were getting into our car to come home, Ashton asked me "mom, would you allow a frog in your car?" I thought for a moment and knew what was up... I said sure, why? He proceeded to pull out his soap container from his front pocket with yes, 3 frogs in it from camp. I could not believe my eyes. I couldn't belive they were still alive. 3. He did not brush his teeth, he did take a shower. 4. His suitcase was a disaster and everything in it was damp. 5. I couldn't find any of his underware in the dirty cloths pile. I then looked in his suitcase in the pouch I had packed them. There they were all 5 pair not worn. Can you say Comando?

Ms. Amy, she's the BOMB

Ms.Amy is brave. I bought a set of clippers to start clipping the boys hair. I am tired of paying 30$ a month for their hair cuts. Ethan and Blake were the first ones to have the experience. Of course Anna Grace doesn't have enough hair to cut.

One Month old our little sweetie

Wow! It is hard to believe that Anna Grace is already one month old. I think that we have established our eating and sleeping pattern. We have discovered that Anna Grace is the only night owl in our home. When we do get her to sleep around 10 or 11, she sleeps anywhere from 4-6 hours straight. Yea, mommy gets good sleep. When mommy sleeps everyone is happier. The boys are still really into their sister. Noone has asked to send her back. Ethan is my little helper. He helps put her diaper on. He is also really good at launching her to the moon from her bouncy seat. If he looses sight of her for a few minutes, he comes running and asking "Where is Anna Grace"

Daddy time

Ethan and Mark are enjoying their one on one time.

I think I can get used to this!

I am beginning to wonder if I could really get used to this staying home thing. We have really been having a great time. Anna Grace just goes along for the ride no matter where we go. I am getting our little schedule down and finding time to do laundry, spread my time between 3 little ones and cook on occasion. I do need to get better at the cooking thing. I think that I have forgotten how to cook. In all seriousness, we are praying about our family situation with jobs. Mark is really enjoying working. He has taken a managment job at Cabela's and plans to move up quickly in the company. In the very near future there is a store opening in Georga and then in Charleston. I have many options with my career and have made several contacts here in Fort Worth. The market for an experienced tech. in this area gives me many options.

Ashton off to Church Camp

Well, another year at church camp for Ashton. Ashton has been looking forward to this for several months. He was very exctied and ready to go. Mommy packed him and reminded him that everything that goes with him to camp needs to come back. Last year at camp he came home with very little of what he took with him. Also, I reminded him that he needed to brush his teeth and shower. Last year, he did not do either one and he is gone for more days this year. He may come home with green teeth and potatoes growing behind his ears. This picture is of him and a new friend that he met. As he was waiting in line to get on the bus and we said our good byes, I found myself crying. I am not sure what all of my emotions were. I am happy for him that he has this great opportunity, I am sad because I am going to miss him and I am so excited about what the Lord is going to do with his heart this week.

Picnic at the Park

We took a picnic lunch and went to the park.... We get there and Ashton says mom, I don't have any shoes on. Well that would be a problem when the park has wood chips down. Well, he wore my shoes and we had a good time.

Lake Cities VBS

We feel so blessed that the Lord has led us to Lake Cities. We have met some really good friends (normal people) and have been fed from The Word of God on a weekly basis. Everyone has made us feel like we are right at home from the very beginning. Over that past year, Mark and I have realized that we are not the ones in control of our lives. It has taken some major life changing experiences to help us see that. Just when we thought that "we" had it all figured out, God pulled the table cloth right out from under us! Lukely at the time we had some really good friends to come along side of us and see us through our rocky road. We feel that this time has helped us to grow spiritually and grow closer as a family and couple. The verse that always seems to fit with our life circumstance is Jeremiah 29:11.
In the first picture Ethan is telling Ms. Angie that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. It was a very touching moment for me. Both of the boys have really enjoyed VBS and were very excited each night when it was time to go back. Ashton was making knots that were to represent a fishing net. Precher Joel relieved me of my crying baby at one point so I could have a break. Of course, he put her to sleep... Yea, to Joel.

Thumb sucking good

Annna Grace does not like any pacifiers except mommy.... if she could find her thumb more often she would be happy

Texas Rain

Ashton, Bradley and Cody had a blast today in the rain. They were riding their scooters and catching frogs. It was a boy thing. We can't get over all of this rain. It has rained everyday for a least a month. The first year that we lived here it rained 5 times in a year. We have not had to turn our sprinkler on for our yard. It has been hard for the boys to get their energy out. We have been very creative finding things to do in the rain.
