I bought 2 very small tomato plants about 1 1/2 months ago. We have been watching them grow and get buds on them. I went to Ace Hardware to get stakes, when I got the stakes home I realized that the plants were too big for them. I returned them for the huge tomato stakes. I can not believe how big they have gotten. It is the good old horse compost that I spread last year. Ethan loves tomatos.
It is dangerous with me working at Cabela's. I get some very good discounts and we have lots of cool toys that boys love. Today i got such a good deal on a bow for me and Ashton that it was too good to pass up. So, now all the boys have some new really cool toys to play with. Ashton was so excited when he got home from school.
The Tanner family took pregnancy pictures on Sunday afternoon. WE ARE GETTING CLOSE NOW!!!!
We kept finding Cheetah on the changing table and in the crib. I was talking about it at work one day and a friend told me to put tape upside down in the crib and changing table. This way when she gets up there she will "get taped" and will not want to do it again. Well, we taped everything last week and have been awaiting the day when she "gets taped". It has been pretty funny to hear us talk about it around the house, "honey, did Cheetah get taped today?"... well, the day has come. Mark is not here to enjoy the moment. The boys and I were in Ethan's room cleaning up and Cheetah came in sounding "scratchy"... she sat down and tried to see what she had gotten herself into.... the boys and I sure did enjoy the moment.... (this isn't pet abuse is it?)
Ashton read Charlotte's Web and then watched the movie. Mom and Dad helped with the book report. Dad performed the technical aspects and Mom performed the creative aspects. WHAT A TEAM EFFORT!!!!
I have really enjoyed getting her room ready. I never dreamed I would like a pink room. Her room is very soothing, I enjoy just sitting in there.
I had a very nice shower at Jihan's house. We had a nice time and I was showered with love and lots of nice gifts.
When we walked out of the house on Sat. morning to go to church for an easter egg hunt.... IT WAS SNOWING>>> We had a good time. Ethan was too worried about where the bunny was to hunt for eggs.
Finally, Anna Grace has a painted room. I did the pink top and darker pink bottom last weekend, and the ric rac middle this weekend.... While I was painting, I kept saying, "not bad for someone with a disability"... Ethan would come in to "help" and he would say "that's pretty mom", "wow, good job, Mom"... he was so encouraging. The ric rac was pretty time consuming, but once it was finished, it was worth it. It is really girly!!!
Last Sat. while Mark was working the boys and I made sugar cookies and decorated them for Easter... We all had a blast

Ashton has been really enjoying soccer. And boy does it require alot of energy! He usually plays defense, but when his team scores he really celebrates!
UNBELIEVABLE.... Ashton's got his report card today. This year has been so good for his self-esteem in school. What an absolutely incredible teacher he has had this year..... Can you believe Ashton is making straight A's. We know he is very smart, but, in years past he has not applied him self or his behavior has gotten in the way. He also made a score of "commended" on his TAK's test. We are very proud of how well he is doing. :-)
