Christmas Eve in our new home!

Mark and I can both say that we are so increadibly blessed this Christmas season. It has been a very hectic month with Mark working 6, 10 hour days a week. Moving during Christmas and the busiest shopping time for retail was very interesting. I was very fortunate to be able to take an entire week off so that we could get unpacked and organized. We love our new home and have met several of our new neighbors. We have all been very healthy and we are excited about what God is going to do in our lives this coming year.

Leigh Leigh strikes again!

What is a friend? When I think of Leigh these are some things that come to mind: 1. The fun and crazy times we had together in high school 2. Leaving math class because we were talking about the prom and the teacher asked us to take it to the hall if we weren't going to pay attention. 3. Toilet papering her new car. 4. Having parties and at one point the port a potty getting over turned down the street from my new house. 5. Riding around on a Friday nights in my VW bug. 6. Leigh throwing her shoe out the window because my coke spilled on it. 7. Getting pulled over in my VW because my back light was out. 8. Going to the races at Summerville Speedway. 9. Leigh being there for me when I had the call about my mother passing away. When I look back and remember all of the fun and crazy times that we have had in the past, it makes me wonder what we will be like when we are gray and sitting in the mall people watching????

The army crawl is the greatest, she does get up on her knees and rock. It is so sweet to watch her get so excited about being able to move about.

Christmas parties

We have had the chance to be very social this Christmas season. We had several Christmas parties that we attended. It was very nice to be able to enjoy our friends and co-workers.

We had breakfast with Santa.... Now Ethan wants a guitar and drums.? We have informed him that you don't always get what you want..... just what we need, drums.

Making Christmas cookies at Church

Ethan had a great time. He wasn't sure if he wanted to get his hands dirty, but after he got comfortable he was really into it. There are some of his friends.

We Believe

Santa Claus was at Cabelas today. We were ALL excited to let him know what we wanted. Ashton wants a new lego Star Wars play station game, Ethan wants a new tractor or a new wheel for the tractor that he has.

Thanksgiving Feast at School

Ethan had his Thanksgiving feast this week at school. We were invited to join his class during their circle time. Beside Ethan is one of his best friends Sydney. They have been in school together 2 years now. We met them at church 3 years ago. They love each other and play together so well.

Ethan's first Trophy

This was Ethan's first season of soccer. He had a great time and met some really nice friends. He was so proud to get his first trophy.

"Lysol Disinfectant"

There never seems to be a dull moment in the Tanner household. Sunday evening Mark was at work and I was home with the children getting ready to start another week. Anna Grace was swinging happily in her swing and Ethan was playing in the living room. I was with Ashton getting him to sleep and consouling him as he is suffering from some depression lately. All of the sudden I hear Anna Grace start screaming, the kind of scream when you know something bad has happened. I jump down from Ashton's bunk and run to see what is going on. Anna Grace is still in her swing, Ethan is no where around. Anna Grace appears to have something greasy or wet on her face. I pick her up and smell her face to see what it is. It is Lysol spray. I yell for Ethan and he bolts out of my bedroom running for his life. He was putting the Lysol spray back where he found it. I freaked out and realize that I needed to get fresh water into Anna Grace's eyes quickly. I call for Amy and she doesn't answer, I then call Brian. Ashton is flipping out at Ethan. I have Ashton call for Mark at work. By the time Mark gets home Amy is already helping me. We had to run water for 20 minutes into Anna Grace's eyes to rinse the "POISON" out of her eyes. Who knows how much he sprayed and how much she ingested???? She is ok and I think that Ethan was pretty tramatized himself. He doesn't know why he did it....

Trunk or Treat

We had a great time at our church for Trunk or Treat. This is a picture of Aunt Rhonda.... the boys love her, she is Amy's sister.

I got froggy this morning and decided to have my own photo shoot. Ashton was my assistant, he helped keep her attention where I needed it. I thought these turned out pretty good.

Pumpkin Patch

We all had a great time! We went to Flower Mount to the pumpkin patch. We went with Amy and her crew and the kids played for about 2 hours there.

Anna Grace and Aunt Nole

Aunt Nole was in Dallas visiting Sandy and we were able to visit with her 3 times while she was here. It was so awesome... She is 83 years old and still moves her own grass. It was great to spend time with her and my cousins.

Ashton's game

Ashton plays on a really good team. He has played with this team for 3 seasons. He is usually a defender or mid fielder. He has played goalie the second half of most of their games. They are in 3rd place.

This is Ethan's first year to play soccer and he loves it. He has a smile on his face the entire game. It's nice to have an older brother that he has watched to learn from.

Ethan is off to school again this year and loving it. He was very excited about starting schol. He has on of the same teachers from last year Ms. Shelley. His best friend Sydney from last year is in his class again. They could pass for twins.
