Ethan's first day of School

Ethan is off to school again this year and loving it. He was very excited about starting schol. He has on of the same teachers from last year Ms. Shelley. His best friend Sydney from last year is in his class again. They could pass for twins.

We had a great time visiting our friends from South Carolina in Houston. It was a very busy weekend but we had a blast.

A friend told me about this great park! It has trees, which is not the norm for this area. Ethan and I had a blast in the "forest" (ethan called it) We collected acorns.

He loves his sister!

It is truly a blessing how much Ethan and Ashton love their sister. They both love to hold her and spend time with her.

Our first hummingbird after 2 years of our hummingbird garden

I was so excited this morning when I looked outside to see a hummingbird enjoying our plants and feeders. I need more food for the feeders. I asked Mark if they sold it at Cabelas. Then I said, "of course not, you can't shoot hummingbirds".

Ashtons first day of school

Wow did summer go fast! Ashton was very excited about his first day of school. He has two teachers this year. The teacher seems to know what to say, Ashton came home and said "Mom, Mrs. Cervantez gave me a compliment, she said that I was thinking of others." We are praying for another great year like last year!

God has sent us family close by...

This is my cousin Sandy and her sweet family. They lived here 10 years ago before moving to NY and now they are back! They live in Carrollton which is 31 miles from my house. We had dinner together along with her sister from Houston. It sur feels good to have them so close.

Leigh Leigh

I can't belive that I only got one picture of Leigh while she was here for a week. Leigh is my best friend from South Carolina. She came to help me while Mark was out of town for business. Wow, did I put her to work. I had a list of things that I wanted her to help me with and we greatly exceeded that list. She organized my files, pantry, closet and scrapbook closet. We were two girls with hand tools for the week! It was scarry. It was very sad to see her leave! I have had enough of taking loved ones to the airport and crying!

Aunt Barbara and Luke's Visit

It was so nice to have my sister in town. This was her first trip to see us in Texas. The boys had a blast with Luke and Barbara loved Cabelas and Ikea.

Ashton is my helper

Ashton has really stepped up to the plate. He loves his little sister and helps me when I need his help.

Her and I fell asleep on the couch. When I got up, I could not resist the sweet face.

Anna Grace is realizing that her thumb makes her feel better. She has also realized that she has a tongue. She keeps sticking her tongue out.
